WordPress.com Integration

Connect your WordPress.com site to publish and edit posts directly with AI automation.

WordPress.com Integration

Connect your WordPress.com site to AgenticSEO and let AI agents publish, edit, and optimize your content automatically.

Overview

The WordPress.com integration enables seamless content publishing directly from AgenticSEO. Once connected, our AI agents can:

  • Publish new posts - Create and publish optimized content directly to your WordPress site
  • Edit existing posts - Update titles, descriptions, and content for better SEO performance
  • Schedule content - Queue posts for future publication at optimal times
  • Manage drafts - Save content as drafts for your review before publishing

How to Connect

  1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations in your AgenticSEO dashboard
  2. Click Connect WordPress.com
  3. You'll be redirected to WordPress.com to authorize AgenticSEO
  4. Grant the required permissions (read/write access to posts)
  5. Once authorized, you'll be redirected back to AgenticSEO

Note: We request only the minimum permissions needed to manage your content.

Publishing Workflow

When AgenticSEO creates or updates content for your WordPress site:

  1. Draft Creation - The agent creates a draft post with optimized content
  2. Review (Optional) - If you have Safe Mode enabled, you'll review before publishing
  3. Publication - Once approved, the post is published to your site
  4. Confirmation - You receive a notification with the live post URL

Safety Controls

You maintain full control over what gets published:

| Control | Description | |---------|-------------| | Safe Mode | Requires manual approval for all publishing actions | | Draft Only | Always create drafts, never auto-publish | | Category Restrictions | Limit which categories agents can post to | | Daily Limits | Cap the number of posts per day |

Permissions Required

  • Read and write access to posts
  • Read access to site information
  • Read access to categories and tags

Troubleshooting

This usually means the authorization expired. Try disconnecting and reconnecting your WordPress.com account from the Integrations page.

Check if posts are being saved as drafts. Navigate to your WordPress dashboard → Posts → Drafts to see pending content.

Make sure you authorized AgenticSEO with a WordPress.com account that has Administrator or Editor role on the target site.
