Getting Started with AgenticSEO
Welcome to AgenticSEO! This guide will help you set up your account and run your first autonomous SEO workflow.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, you'll need:
- An AgenticSEO account (sign up at getagenticseo.com/signup)
- Access to Google Search Console for your website
- (Optional) WordPress.com or GitHub account for content publishing
Step 1: Connect Google Search Console
Your SEO data powers everything in AgenticSEO.
- Navigate to Settings → Integrations
- Click Connect Google Search Console
- Sign in with your Google account
- Select the property you want to optimize
- Confirm the connection
Tip: For best results, connect a property with at least 30 days of data.
Step 2: Configure Your Workspace
Set up basic preferences for your site:
- Go to Settings → Workspace
- Set your site URL (used for opportunity detection)
- Choose your industry category
- Set your target keywords (optional but recommended)
Step 3: Enable Safe Mode (Recommended)
For your first week, we recommend Safe Mode:
- Navigate to Settings → Automation
- Enable Safe Mode
- Set Approval Required to "All Actions"
This ensures you review every action before it's executed.
Step 4: Run Your First Scan
Let's see what opportunities AgenticSEO finds:
- Click Run Scan from the dashboard
- Wait for the analysis to complete (1-5 minutes)
- Review opportunities in your Inbox
Step 5: Take Your First Action
Try a low-risk optimization:
- Open an opportunity from your Inbox
- Review the AI recommendation
- Click Approve to execute
- Watch the action complete in real-time
